Consumerism?? No way, not me?!
So yeah, I got a ton of games I want to and should be playing through but I always get this thing going on where I buy a ton of stuff, but never actually play them. I don’t know if it’s my constant “Oh shit, that’s out today? Shit, I better buy it RIGHT NOW NO EXCUSES WHATSOEVER HERE TAKE MY MONEY FOR YOUR SERVICES, YOU DISC BASED ENTERTAINMENT!” DVDs/Blu-Rays, vidya games, you name it. Not so much CDs anymore, because really lol paying for music.
Like take for instance, I have Red Dead Redemption in my Xbox as we speak, and I really wanna play it. I also just recently purchased a copy of Darksiders, which I wanted forever and actually waited till I saw it for $20 on GoGamer.com. I haven’t even touched it. Same with The Saboteur ($20 impulse buy), Super Street Fighter IV, and Just Cause 2. All new games that, like any smart person in this world would say “Ok, I’m gonna beat this first and THEN buy something else. But noooooo. That’s not how I roll, apparently.
I think I have a problem.
But hey, Green Day: Rock Band comes out next week and the cycle will start all over again. Go me, and here I am supposed to be saving to move to Long Island in the fall. They take rent in gamerscore, right?
